Principles of Microeconomics

Course Description... ECO 1001 Introduction to Microeconomics:

Microeconomics is the study of the building blocks of our economy. We begin by examining basic economic questions and trade-offs. We move on to outline competitive market structure and dynamics. From here we explore how individual behavior influences the demand side of markets. After this we outline in depth the economic architecture of the typical firm and how it defines the supply side of markets. Building on insights derived, we end by examine market structure and performance. Time permitting, we will explore externalities, public goods and the role of technology in the economy.

This course is offered for 3.0 credits and is classified as a "lecture". This course is offered by the Economics Department, in the college of Commerce and Finance. There are no prerequisites.
