January 19 - Holiday, no class
January 26 - Snow day, no class
February 2 - Here are the notes for the first lecture. Note that there are homework problems and some worked out problems at the end of the lecture.
February 9 - Here are the notes for lecture 2. Homework solutions for HW1 will be posted next week.
February 16 - Holiday, no class. Chapter 3's homework is due next week and I will be posting the answers to Homework 1 on the 23rd as well. So if you don't have it turned it yet, get it in before that date. Just a reminder, we are looking at a test date of March 15.
February 23 - Here are the notes for lecture 3. If you haven't talked to me, you should have turned in HW1 by tonight's class. The solutions will be up later in the week, so talk to me if you haven't turned them in.
February 25 - Here are the solutions for Homework 1. Don't forget to send me your 5 digit code that you would like me to use to post your grades. Also, tell me your preferred email address incase I need to send a group message.
March 1 - Spring Break - no class.
March 8 - Here are tonight's notes. Here are Figure 5.19, Figure 5.33 and Figure 5.42 which you can use for your homework. Solutions to 2 and 3 will go up probably on Wed so people can get ready for the test which is next Monday. Again, if you aren't in class, you will get the take home version of the exam.
March 10 - Ok, since monday was a review instead of a new lecture, ignore March 8th's post. The test will cover chapters 2, 3 and 4 not chapter 5 and there is no homework assignment for next week. Here are the problems we worked in class. Homework solutions following shortly. Hw 2 and Hw 3
March 22 - The notes from Chapter 5 are here if you didn't download them from March 8th. The Grade Sheet is now up - some people still need to give me codes. No take home tests have been graded yet.
March 29 - Here are the notes from Chapter 6. You may want to use the following pictures for your problems, but you will at least need to reference them. Fig 6.45, Fig 6.46, Fig 6.71
April 5 - Here are the notes on Caches from Chapter 7. Make sure you have the homework at the end. Figure 7.10 is here. The updated grade sheet will be along shortly...
April 12 - Easter Monday - Villanova Holiday.
April 19 - Here are the notes on Virtual memory from Chapter 7.
April 28 - The solutions for Homework 5, Homework 6 and Homework 7. If you are not going to be in class on Monday for the exam, let me know so I can send the take home out to you when it is ready.
